The Summer Camp that was . . .

We are sorry to announce that Redwood Glen’s 2020 summer camps for children and youth are canceled for 2020. We will miss sharing crafts and archery, campfires and s’mores, music and devotions, and the many other special camp experiences. However, it is our commitment to follow the scientific evidence, government regulations, and the conscience of everyone at Redwood Glen in dealing with the COVID-19 virus. It is also our commitment to God to serve you and your families in all the ways that affect your health. If you already have a child registered for camp, we will be in contact with you shortly regarding options on refunding your deposit.

It is necessary to keep our distance this summer. But be sure...we’ve got big plans for sharing the summer 2021 with you!

A way to donate to Redwood Glen without spending a dime.

Redwood Glen is registered with Amazon.com as a non-profit charity, so when you shop through "smile.amazon.com", a portion of your purchase comes back to Redwood Glen.  All you need to do is logon to smile.amazon.com (instead of the regular amazon.com). Everything you usually see will look exactly the same. You can then designate Redwood Glen as your charity of choice, and for all your purchases, Amazon.com will donate a percentage of your bill to Redwood Glen.
A big thank you goes out to those of you who have already shopped this way, as Redwood Glen has been receiving quarterly checks from Amazon.com. You can call us here at the camp if you have any questions about how to do shop on Amazon and benefit Redwood Glen.

Redwood Glen: Where God Transforms People

Redwood Glen exists to create an impact on the mission of Christ. One of the true joys I’ve had as a pastor for so long is watching young people grow up and become Christian leaders. Camille Cintas is one example. In this photo she is a young camper (the middle one) at a Redwood Glen children’s camp several years ago.

She and her twin sister (Carmen) attended our camps regularly. At camp, Camille began to play musical instruments and helped lead worship at camp.

Now she is a college graduate and serves on the staff at Santa Clara First Baptist Church as its new Director of Worship. She has become a gifted musician, excellent singer, and inspiring worship leader.

I thank God that Redwood Glen was part of the vital experiences that He used to transform Camille to become the person she is today. Camille's story is just one of many leadership stories that have emerged from our camp. Thank you for your support in creating such leaders, both in the past and those who will become leaders in the future!
